Coed Swimming

The Derryfield swim team is a co-ed team that competes in division two of the NHIAA. In 2017 the girls’ team won our school’s first ever state championship in swimming. Since the teams’ formation in the early 2000’s, it has found individual success on both the boys’ and girls’ teams with state champions being crowned in 50 free, 100 free, 100 back, 100 breast and in diving. Both teams also have a long history of relay success winning state championships in the 200 and 400 free as well as the 400 individual medley. The team has also had many individuals go on to swim in college at schools such as Georgetown, Dartmouth, NYU, Bates, and Yale.
