Ice Hockey

The Derryfield School, under the by-laws of the NHIAA, has joined with Hollis/Brookline HS to form a varsity co-operative Ice Hockey team. The team known as the HBDS Warriors participate in the NH Division III. The team regularly practices at Conway Ice Arena in Nashua. Many players from both schools play hockey for travel and various club teams. This initiative provides an opportunity for players to represent their school which they might not have been able to do. The team has recently found success competing in the Final Four in 2022, appearing in the state championship in 2021, and competing in the Final Four in 2020. Since the winner in 2019, the team has made 3 straight appearances in the NHIAA Final Four. In 2021, the team made its first-ever appearance in the finals. For the Winter of 2022-23, Head Coach, Joel Sanborn, assisted by Derek Lautieri will lead the Warriors into battle this season. Go, Warriors!
