Six Derryfield students attended the 54th Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Fall Workshop at UNH on October 21. FBLA’s mission is, “To inspire and prepare students to become community-minded business leaders in a global society through relevant career preparation and leadership experiences.” FBLA offers opportunities for students interested in business and business education in grades 5 through 12. The meeting at UNH aimed to enhance essential leadership skills, provide an opportunity to network with like-minded students, and update the attendees on state level FBLA projects.
Dr. Reina Stimpson, director of student leadership, chaperoned Myles Rozen ‘26, Izzy Mailliox ‘26, Matt Purnickescu ‘26, Sarina Punjabi ‘27, Sam Krasnof ‘28 and Deepsun Adhikari ‘28.
FBLA is the largest business student career organization in the United States. There are over 230,000 students worldwide. Being a part of FBLA exposes students to competitive events at the state and national level, leadership conferences, networking opportunities and scholarships.
