New Parents

Come to Derryfield to be transformed. Your passions will guide the change.
    • A Return on Your Investment

As a new parent to The Derryfield School community, you will find a number of ways to "get connected." The Derryfield Parent/Faculty Association is a parent/faculty volunteer organization dedicated to cultivating community life at the School. They sponsor multiple events throughout the academic year, including fun family events such as the Back-To-School Picnic, a faculty/staff appreciation breakfast, and the Derryfield PFA Benefit. If you are interested in more information about positions, volunteer opportunities, and Class Parent responsibilities, please visit the PFA webpage.

Parents Welcoming Parents

Each year, Derryfield parents volunteer to become Class Parents for their child's grade. Class parents organize parent social events and sometimes work with Head Class Advisors on some social events for the students as well. Class parents also serve as a welcoming committee for new parents. Please expect to receive information about your class parent contacts as we head into the summer and feel free to use them as a wonderful new source of information about Derryfield!
