JV Basketball Update
The JV Boys’ Basketball roster for the coming 2022-23 season includes 16 players. Varsity
Head Coach Ed Meade has tabbed juniors Billy Gardner, Elias Kanteres and Logan Purvis, and
freshman Sam Fazelat as varsity players who will also “swing” to gain playing experience in JV
games.
Juniors Hunter Crawford and Alex Murray will play key roles as they return for their third JV
seasons. Sophomore Andy Dell’Orfano is back for a second year.
Nine freshmen join the JVs, and all are working hard to learn the offenses and defenses, and earn
playing time. Nate Boudreau, Newton Kershaw and Ben Flamme are a trio of quick guards who
have shown that they can handle the ball well and get it to their open teammates. Aaron Felings,
Ethan Friedburg and Logan O’Leary will be playing on the wings. Connor Bradley, Sam Clarke
and Jon Martinez can rebound and score inside.
