Lyceum Gallery Presents "Convergence"
The Derryfield School Lyceum Gallery is proud to present Convergence, a solo exhibit of the work of Yo Ahn Han. Han is a multimedia artist, utilizing materials such as watercolors, gouache, inks, and intricately-cut Yupo (a synthetic, mylar-like paper) on painted wooden panels. Referencing his Korean heritage, his work is a visual dialogue between suppression and desire, a duality experienced in both being diagnosed with cerebral arteriovenous malformation as well as his bifurcated cultural identity. Han is an Assistant Professor at MassArt and visiting lecturer at RISD. He will be meeting with students in the Advanced Studio Art course later this winter. View the online gallery here.
Located in Manchester, NH, The Derryfield School is a private day school for grades 6-12. Students benefit from a challenging academic program, fine and performing arts, competitive athletics, and a wide selection of extracurricular activities.
