Nordic at Souhegan Sprints
The Nordic team had a great day at the Souhegan Sprints on Saturday at Plainfield.  On a sparkling cold day the team did their first ever sprints which included a mass start qualifier in the morning and A and B sprint heats after lunch. Eleanor took third in the B’s, Jackson took second in the B’s and Katherine came home with the gold winning the girls’ A’s handily. For the first time doing sprint racing, this was a very impressive day for Derryfield Nordic!

Ice Hockey Breaks OT Drought
There is a saying of getting the monkey off one's back: to remove or solve a problem that has been difficult to get rid of or solve. Our ice hockey team got a much needed win and boost of confidence Wednesday night as they won 4-3 in OT against ConVal after three tough overtime losses. Cole Giersch got back on the score sheet with the game winner, assisted by Aidan Chretien. The Derryfield/Hollis-Brookline team has an 11-4 record in NHIAA DIII with three games left in the regular season.
