JV Ties Goffstown on Grass
The JV squad had its first away game and came away with a well fought tie against a solid opponent. Switching from turf to grass was a bit of an adjustment and the team struggled in the first half to move the ball forward. The second half saw much better stick work and forward motion that led to a few scoring opportunities that we could not capitalize on. Goalie Erin Glosner came up big with a few saves to keep the Goffstown Grizzlies at bay and solid defense by Suha Elsheikh and Ruby Amorim helped too. The team continues to show improvement in skills, filed sense, and never lets down in effort and attitude. It was a strong performance by everyone and good gained experience playing on a different surface.
