March Means Global Travel for Derryfield Students
With six separate trips spread across the eastern seaboard and across the globe, March break means global cultural and service experiences for a large number of Derryfield students. Upper school students traveled internationally to London for a creative arts and culture adventure, to Vietnam for a culture and history tour, and to the Island School in the Bahamas to study marine ecology and sustainability. A domestic service trip to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity in Winston-Salem, NC rounded out the upper school offerings. Middle school students had a choice of the biennial Washington, DC politics and history trip and a service and culture trip to the Dominican Republic.
