    Lenny McCaigue has spent the past 22 years as Derryfield’s Athletic Director, coaching the varsity field hockey team to several state titles and creating bonds with countless members of the Derryfield community. However, all good things must come to an end, and Mr. McCaigue retired from his position as Athletic Director at the end of the school year.     On Thursday after a snow delay from Wednesday the boys Varsity alpine team traveled west to host States at Crotched Mtn. against 11 other divisional rivals.  We couldn't have asked for better conditions. Bright blue sky, corduroy snow and temps in the low 30's made for a picture perfect day and while our team has not always skied as pretty as they and we would have liked this season...they came darn close to skiing perfect today....
