Why I Give

Dennis Holland

I came to Derryfield after three years of teaching. Coincidentally, Derryfield had been open for students for three years before I began to teach here. I like to think that the School and I have "matured" together in the 47 years since that time. Our campus has evolved from a single building and I have been encouraged to innovate in my mathematics teaching. The opportunity through coaching basketball to see how my classroom students can excel in other ways has only enhanced my experience.

Observing how Derryfield has changed the lives of many of the students I have taught has convinced me that making this opportunity available to future students is very important to me. For this and many other reasons I am proud to be able to join the 1964 Legacy Society by making Derryfield part of my estate planning.
