The Creative Arts Department faculty is committed to promoting artistic excellence through self-discovery, creative expression, and collaboration. Our program builds confidence and discipline in students by encouraging creative risk-taking and the application of technical skills. The Creative Arts faculty also promotes empathy and an appreciation for the artistic contributions of others.
Transformative Experiences
Derryfield students are challenged in a variety of compelling performing and visual arts courses. Through on and off campus performances and gallery exhibitions, students are able to present their talents to the Derryfield community as well as to local and national audiences.
Powerful Outcomes
The Derryfield Creative Arts Department instills in its alumni an appreciation for the arts through exposure to and active engagement with various media. Students with these transferable skills are empathetic critical thinkers who apply their experience and technical understanding across college disciplines and career fields.
