Splash! Sinking down into the darkness.
Again and again, each one creates different rings and ripples.
Each one splashes down into darkness,
Raindrops begin to fall creating rings and ripples.
No one is there but me.
The wind blows pebbles and small rocks that are carried into the water.
But I remain on shore.
Wind blows and even small trees fall in to the darkness.
What am I?
What will lift me?
Am I living?
Can I talk?
I am heavy and round
Stationary and secure.
Ancient and enveloped by moss.
I have been waiting too long.
