It Starts With Your Investment Derryfield offers the advantages and opportunities traditionally associated with top boarding schools and the benefits of living at home. It’s the best of both worlds, but it requires a significant investment. The 2011 - 2012 tuition is $26,435. Additional costs average $500-$750 annually per student, and may include, but are not limited to, books, field trips, and class activity fees. Certain athletic and extracurricular activities also charge additional fees.

Others Are Investing in Your Child, Too | The cost of educating one student is actually greater than the tuition. To make up the difference, Derryfield seeks funding from foundations that support excellence in education, holds auxiliary fund-raising events, uses income from the endowment, and relies on gifts to the Annual Fund. Support for the Annual Fund starts with the faculty, staff, trustees, and the Alumni Council, whose participation rate is 100% - a reflection of their commitment to Derryfield's mission and students. Parents, grandparents, alumni, and alumni parents also contribute, and every gift helps to keep tuition down and make the school affordable to a wider range of students. |
